Volunteering at the Royal Pavilion Gardens

Next year will be the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the Royal Pavilion Garden Volunteer Groups set up to help in the then 'newly restored Regency Garden, around the Royal Pavilion' over the years the garden has matured, so have we. To continue this vital work we are appealing to anyone who have the time and inclination to join us.

We meet every Friday morning and Tuesday afternoon. Some training will be given but a basic knowledge of pruning and weed identification is necessary.

Specialised footwear is needed and there is a boot and glove allowance. Tools are provided.

If you are interested please visit the gardens on a weekday morning and find Robert the head gardener in charge for further details.

The Pavilion Gardens benefit from the help of a number of people who volunteer their time and skills. Volunteers work in many areas including events, marketing, working with collections, fundraising and gardening.

The Royal Pavilion are currently working on improving the way's they recruit and work with their volunteers to ensure the best possible match between the needs of the volunteer and the organisation.
